A day dedicated to exploring and photographing Tbilisi’s historical and modern contrasts. Walk through the narrow streets of the old city, capturing the beautifully preserved houses and unique architectural styles. Leaving Tbilisi, we journey towards the breathtaking Dashbashi Canyon, known for its lush greenery and dramatic cliffs. At Paravani Lake, Georgia’s largest alpine lake, we visit Poka St. Nino Nunnery, a peaceful retreat producing handmade cheese and chocolate. The day ends with a visit to Vardzia, a stunning 12th-century cave monastery carved into the cliffs, once a thriving medieval city and an essential cultural and religious center. Descending from the mountains, we head towards the Black Sea coast, stopping along the way to photograph the changing landscapes. Stopping at Martvili canyon. Returning to Tbilisi, we make a detour to Katskhi Pillar, an extraordinary limestone monolith with a tiny monastery perched on top.
